John Kricfalusi, creator of Ren & Stimpy drew me a picture :) To My Best Friend Ever, Nader!

John worked with us at Reel FX for a while and I got to pick his brain. The most interesting thing I learned is that the distressed look of some of the Ren & Stimpy cartoons was a result of a volcano blowing up in the Philippines. The volcano ash got into the frames. The result of which is the splotchy, gritty feel of some of the cartoons.
